Propoxur – non-inclusion

In line with the European biocide legislation, with the decision 2009/324/EC of the European commission from 14th April 2009 the non-inclusion of the active ingredient Propoxur for the product type 18 (insecticides, acaricides, and products against other arthropods) has been adopted. The decision applies since 1st June 2009. Therefore products have to be phased out by  31st May 2010. After this date it is not allowed to sale biocide products, which contain this active ingredient and belong to the product type 18. This concerns the following products of EWABO:

EWAZID® Pro Pulver

EWAZID® Pro flüssig

To compensate the lack of the above mentioned products, we have adapted our product line and can offer you alternatively with immediate effect the following products:

EWAZID® Parasatin C Pulver

EWAZID® Parasatin C

These products contain each the active ingredients Cypermethrin and Bifentrin, which are going to be supported in line with the biocide legislation in the future. Of course we will keep you informed about actual changes and important product-related themes concerning the biocide legislation.
